Beagle Welfare 2019 Just for Dogs The Harley Jay Trust

In 2019, We visited The Beagle Welfare just outside Melton Mowbray, for a day’s entertainment photographing lots of mostly Beagles and some I am pretty sure where not! But helped to raise money for a very worthy charity. Especially touched by the moving story of Smiler and her harrowing start in life and the wonderful loving life she has now. Such a loving friendly girl. Unfortunately, as with all events we have been unable to attend again this year. But we will be back in 2021! If they will have us 😉!

I’d love to help

3 years ago, I picked a charity that I would volunteer my photographic services to in the hope that my skills would help increase the chances of finding forever homes. Well that seems to have worked even better than we had hoped. Now we attend all their charity events at the centre and wherever they go selling prints and raising money as we go.

The lovely organisers of the Harley Jay Trust black tie dinner invited me along to help raise funds on the night with my pop-up studio and print deck so attendees can have their photos taken and printed to take away with half the money taken going straight to the charity.
